What we collect

NexCode may collect Azure AD account identifiers, email address, locally stored project/session data, device/runtime information, crash diagnostics, and optional telemetry if the user explicitly enables telemetry.

How data is collected

Data is collected through user sign-in, application usage, agent sessions, local configuration, and optional telemetry submissions.

Why data is collected

Data is used to authenticate users, enforce Microsoft Store subscription entitlements, provide local session history, diagnose reliability issues, and improve the product. Telemetry for model-training or product-improvement purposes is opt-in.

Storage and retention

Local application data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database protected by SQLCipher and Windows-backed secret material. Optional telemetry may be retained for up to 24 months. Local data remains until the user deletes it or uninstalls the app.

Third-party sharing

Conversation content and tool inputs may be transmitted to configured AI providers as part of normal operation. Payment and subscription lifecycle management are handled by Microsoft Store. NexCode does not sell personal data.

User rights

Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data and may disable telemetry at any time in product settings.

Children

NexCode is not intended for users under the age of 13.
